We had a GREAT time at the inaugural Old Pueblo Road Rally on April 24, 2010!!!
What is Old Pueblo Road Rally?
- Fun – a 2-hour driving tour of Tucson that ends with a terrific party with great food and a classic car display at Tucson Electric Park. If you are interested in showing your car, call Sandy at 520-670-0854.
- Competitive – score points and win great prizes by:
- Solving clues
- Following course directions
- Collecting scavenger hunt items
- A new fun(d)raiser that won’t have you eating chicken in a ballroom!
This is not a race. Vehicles range from pick-up trucks to sports cars, from car club show-stoppers to everyday autos.
Teams: Every vehicle is considered a team. Every team must have at least two (2) people (driver and navigator). If you have more than four people on your team, there is a $25 registration fee for each additional person. For safety reasons, motorcycle teams are not permitted.
This is an adult only event and the team driver must be at least 21 years of age and present a valid driver’s license. Proof of insurance and car ownership (or permission of owner) are also required at registration.
Prizes will be awarded on:
- most points scored
- most dollars raised
- best decorated vehicle, and more!
Bonus prizes will also be awarded at check-points along the course.
Fundraising
Each team is encouraged to reach a fundraising goal of $1,000; the fundraising minimum for each team is $500. You can collect pledges in advance from co-workers, family and friends, or you can donate the full amount yourself. It’s up to you!
Dollars raised through the Old Pueblo Road Rally will help Catholic Community Services (CCS) continue to provide health and human services for more than 100,000 people in need throughout all of Southern Arizona.
